Three Leaf Dividers
Intermediate
Embark on a hands-on journey with our Three Leaf Dividers class, where you'll learn to forge and file your own precision measuring tools. Using induction or coal, you’ll forge-weld the double leaf side and can even enhance the jaws with tool steel bits if desired. Join us at the bench to refine your creation with hand-filing techniques, ensuring you leave with a functional and elegant tool tailored to your forging needs.
Each student can expect to leave with at least one set of 6" dividers. More experienced smiths may have time to make additional parts or complete sets.
Please wear non-synthetic clothes and closed-toe shoes. A water bottle is highly recommended. Notebooks, personal safety gear, and tools are optional.
All safety gear, tools, and materials are provided.
